The Flight Crew Kickball Classicâ„¢ is more than a tournament. It’s an aviation movement that encourages balance in every area of life.
How It Started
How the Idea Was Born
The idea for the Flight Crew Kickball Classicâ„¢ came to life after founder Prieska Outland was invited by a childhood friend to join an adult kickball team.
Excited by the opportunity, she participated in a kickball tournament with members from her gym in August 2025. It had been years since she last played kickball — not since childhood — but the experience reignited a sense of joy, playfulness, and connection.
The tournament wasn’t just about competition. It was a fundraiser to support children returning to school. While some competitors took the game very seriously, Prieska chose to stay focused on the bigger picture — keeping a joyful spirit, embracing the moment, and remembering the purpose behind the game.
Even though her team didn’t win the tournament, the experience itself won her heart.
She left sore, energized, and inspired — having worked muscles she hadn’t used in years — and that was when the lightbulb went off.
“Wait a minute… I can create something like this for flight crew.”
The Vision
From Idea to Movement
What if flight attendants and pilots had one day dedicated to wellness, movement, connection, and purpose?
What if bases could come together beyond the cabin to compete, laugh, and give back?
What if airlines from across the aviation industry could unite through friendly competition and community?
That vision became the Flight Crew Kickball Classicâ„¢.
More than just a tournament, FCKC is a wellness-driven aviation movement designed to bring flight crew together through, fitness, teamwork, entertainment, and meaningful impact.
Even if only for one unforgettable day each year, FCKC creates space for flight crew to get F.I.T. – Focused, Invested, and Transformed – while connecting beyond the jumpseat and beyond the skies.
Each year, a portion of proceeds will support select charitable initiatives, helping turn competition into community impact.
What began as a vision to unite flight attendants and pilots has grown into a movement that unites the entire aviation community. Today, the Flight Crew Kickball Classicâ„¢ celebrates every professional who helps make flight possible.
Meet The Founder
Prieska Outland
With over 11 years of experience as a mainline flight attendant, Prieska Outland has experienced firsthand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of life in aviation. Her passion for wellness, connection, and community inspired the creation of the Flight Crew Kickball Classic™–a first-of-its-kind event designed to bring aviation professionals together beyond the workrplace.
As the founder of Prieska Speaks, a wellness-focused motivational platform built on the F.I.T. Philosophy —Focused.Invested.Transformed.—Prieska believes that true success begins with caring for the whole person. She has dedicated her career to encouraging others to prioritize their mind, body, soul and finances while creating opportunities that inspire connection and personal growth.
In addition to her aviation career, Prieska is also an entrepreneur, actress, motivational speaker, and former accounting professional whose passion for wellness, storytelling, and community impact continues to shape the vision behind Flight Crew Kickball Classicâ„¢.
The Flight Crew Kickball Classicâ„¢ is the official space for active flight attendants, pilots and other aviation professionals to represent their base or airline, build meaningful connections, and bring positive energy both on and off the field.
