The inaugural Flight Crew Kickball Classic™ begins together aviation professionals and community supporters for an exciting day of competition celebrating teamwork, wellness, connection, and airline pride.
BATTLE OF THE BASES features American Airlines-led teams representing participating bases. Community supporters may fill open roster positions and play alongside American Airlines employees while helping their assigned base compete for bragging rights.
BATTLE OF THE AIRLINES brings together aviation professionals and community supporters on participating airline teams to compete for airline pride and the inagural championship title.
Important Note: Flight Crew Kickball Classic is an independent wellness and community initiative created by aviation professionals to strengthen wellness, connection, and community throughout aviation and beyond.
While not affilliated with or sponsored by any airline, participating aviation professionals and community supporters are serving as the inaugural year trailblazers—helping launch what is envisioned to become a multi-airline championship experience connecting aviation with the communities that support it.
Eligibility
Who Can Register
Player registration is open to aviation professionals representing their bases or airlines, as well as community supporters representing the airline they fly most often or consider their favorite, in the inaugural Flight Crew Kickball Classic™.
BATTLE OF THE BASES welcomes American Airline employees representing their home bases, along with community supporters who may fill available roster positions.
BATTLE OF THE AIRLINES welcomes aviation professionals representing participating airlines, along with community supporters who may fill available roster positions.
COMMUNITY SUPPORTERS do not have to work in aviation. They may select a preferred American Airlines base or favorite airline; however, final placement is based on roster availability and team needs.

Leadership
Team Roles
Team Captains and Co-Captains serve as the primary point of contact for their team, helping organize communication, coordinate logistics, encourage participation, and create a positive experience for every player.
Battle of the Bases teams will be led by an American Airlines employee representing a participating base. Battle of the Airlines teams will be led by an aviation professional representing the team. Any registered participant, including a Community Supporter, may volunteer to serve as Co-Captain. Final leadership selections will be based on interest, availability, and team needs.

→ Support the Team Captain in organizing and communicating with players

⚠️ All players participate at their own risk and must sign a Player Liability Waiver
💪 Players are expected to be physically capable of participating
🏆 Players will compete for championship recognition, airline pride, and the opportunity to represent their base or airline on a national stage.
🔄 Team assignments are based on paid registrations, roster availability, and team needs. FCKC reserves the right to combine incomplete base or airline rosters to ensure tournament play.
🏁 Player Registration Fees must be submitted by August 26, 2026 to secure participation and by August 24, 2026 at 5:00pm EST to receive a customized team jersey.
⏰ Late registrations may be accepted based on roster availability; customized jerseys are not guaranteed after the deadline. You will receive a generic FCKC jersey. Sizes will be limited.

Late registration will be accepted through August 24th at 5:00 PM ET, based on roster availability; however, custom team jerseys will not be available after August 15th. No player registrations will be accepted after August 24th.
