Tournament Format
10 Bases. 8 Airlines. 1 Champion.
The inaugural Flight Crew Kickball Classic™ will feature two exciting divisions.
DIVISION I: 🏆 Battle of the Bases
American Airlines Flight Attendants and Pilots will compete by base in a high-energy tournament to determine the inaugural Battle of the Bases Champion.
The winning base team advances to represent American Airlines in the Battle of the Airlines championship division.
DIVISION II: 🌎 Battle of the Airlines
Participating airline teams from across the aviation industry will compete in a single-elimination showdown for the title of inaugural Flight Crew Kickball Classic™ Airline Champion.
Participating airlines may include: • American Airlines • Delta Air Lines • United Airlines • Southwest Airlines • JetBlue • Frontier • Spirit Airlines • Alaska Airlines
The Path To Victory
How the Tournament Works
Division I: Battle of the Bases Format
Kickoff Games (Play-In Round)
Ten Bases participate in a random draw. Four teams are selected to compete in two Kickoff Games, while the remaining six teams receive a bye. The two winning teams advance to Quarterfinal play.
Quarterfinals – First Wave
Four teams compete in two games. The two winning teams advance to the next quarterfinal round.
Quarterfinals – Second Wave
The remaining four teams compete in two games. The two winning teams advance to the Semifinals.
Semifinals
The four quarterfinal winners compete for the top two spots in the Championship Game.
🏆 Championship Game
The final two teams face off to determine the champion.
The winning base advances to represent American Airlines in the Battle of the Airlines Division II.
Division II: Battle of the Airlines Format
Opening Matchups
Eight Airlines participate in a random draw. Four Airlines are selected to compete in two Kickoff Games. Winning teams advance to the seminfinal round.
Second Wave Matchups
The remaining four airline teams compete for the final semifinal spots.
Semifinals
The remaining four teams compete the top two spots in the championship game.

The final two airline teams compete for the inaugural Battle of the Airlines Championship.
The Roster
Team Structure
✓ Each team roster may include up to 15 players
✓ Teams are encouraged to be co-ed
✓ Open to active and recently impacted Flight Attendants and Pilots
On The Field
Game Play Rules
✓ Standard kickball rules apply
✓ Each game session is 30 minutes long
✓ Most points at end of 30 minutes wins
✓ Ties broken by sudden death scoring
✓ Umpire decisions are final
